Sté Caniolino is a French artisanal micro-enterprise. We place great value on honesty and clarity and are committed to building strong and lasting relationships with our clients, based on trust and mutual benefit. In accordance with this philosophy, the protection of your personal data is essential to us and we wish to inform you through this personal data protection policy of the way in which we collect and process this data.

This privacy policy defines and informs you of the way in which Caniolino uses and protects the information that you transmit to us, if necessary, when you use this site accessible from the following URL: www.caniolino.com (ci -after the “Site”).

Please note that this privacy policy may be modified or supplemented at any time by Caniolino, in particular with a view to complying with any legislative, regulatory, jurisprudential or technological developments. In such a case, the date of its update will be clearly identified at the top of this policy. These modifications commit the User as soon as they are put online. The User should therefore regularly consult this privacy policy and the use of cookies in order to be aware of any changes.

Personal data

In general, you can visit the Site without disclosing any personal information about yourself. In any case, you are in no way obliged to transmit this information to Canilino. However, in case of refusal, you may not be able to benefit from certain information or services that you have requested. As such, Caniolino may in certain cases be required to ask you to provide (hereinafter your "Personal Information"):

  • gender;

  • telephone number;

  • address ;

  • age/date of birth;

  • your opinion of our products;

  • payment information (on e-commerce Supports);

  • your purchase history (on e-commerce Supports);

By providing this information, you expressly agree that it will be processed by Caniolino, for the purposes indicated in point 2 below as well as for the purposes stated at the end of each form.

In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation adopted by the European Parliament on April 14, 2016, and the amended Data Protection Act of January 6, 1978, Caniolino informs you of the following points:

1. Identity of the controller

2. Purposes of processing

Caniolino may collect your personal data for the following purposes:

3. Recipients
Only Caniolino   is the recipient of your Personal Information. These, whether in individual or aggregated form, are never transmitted to a third party, notwithstanding the subcontractors that Caniolino uses (you will find more information about them in point 7 below). Neither Caniolino nor any of its subcontractors market the personal data of visitors and Users of its Site.

4. Shelf life
Your Personal Information is kept by Caniolino  only for the time corresponding to the purpose of the collection as indicated in 2 above which in any case cannot exceed 24 months.

5. IT Rights and Freedoms

Right of access and communication of data
You have the ability to access the Personal Information that concerns you. However, due to Caniolino's obligation of security and confidentiality in the processing of personal data, you are informed that your request will be processed provided that you provide proof of your identity, in particular by producing a scan of your valid identity document (if requested by our dedicated electronic form) or a signed photocopy of your valid identity document (if requested in writing).

Caniolino informs you that it will be entitled, if necessary, to oppose manifestly abusive requests (by their number, their repetitive or systematic nature). Right to rectification of data
Under this right, the legislation entitles you to request the rectification, updating, blocking or deletion of data concerning you which may prove to be inaccurate, erroneous, incomplete or obsolete. Also, you can define general and specific directives relating to the fate of personal data after your death. If necessary, the heirs of a deceased person may demand that the death of their loved one be taken into account and/or that the necessary updates be made. Right of opposition
The exercise of this right is only possible in one of the following two situations: when the exercise of this right is based on legitimate grounds; or when the exercise of this right aims to prevent the data collected from being used for commercial prospecting purposes. 6. Response times
Caniolino undertakes to respond to your request for access, rectification or opposition or any other additional request for information within a reasonable period of time, which may not exceed 1 month from receipt of your request.

7. Authorized service providers
Caniolino informs you that it uses its authorized service providers to facilitate the collection and processing of the data that you have communicated to us. This is for example the case for La Poste, the organization in charge of the transport and the good delivery of your orders in France.

8. Incident notification
No matter how hard you try, no method of transmission over the Internet, and no method of electronic storage, is completely secure. We cannot therefore guarantee absolute security. If we become aware of a security breach, we will notify affected users so that they can take appropriate action. Our incident notification procedures take into account our legal obligations, whether at national or European level. We are committed to fully informing our clients of all matters relating to the security of their account and to providing them with all the information necessary to help them comply with their own regulatory reporting obligations.

No personal information of the user of the Site is published without the user's knowledge, exchanged, transferred, assigned or sold on any medium whatsoever to third parties.
